Community Events
We hold regular community events which involve our children, families and the wider community including the local Mayor and our local Member of Parliament and are always attended by members of our clergy. We work with local charities to host events such as our Scarecrow Festivals and food bank collections.
We join together to take part in a wide range of activities with the focus on socialising, making new friends, spending time together and having fun. Our community events cover all ages and we target people who normally would not have the opportunity to come into school.
In July 2015 we were thrilled to win a Manchester Evening News School Award. We received our award in the Active Community category for our Community Afternoons. Miss Clayton and Mr Price attended the award ceremony and we received a lovely trophy to display in our trophy cabinet. This is the second time we have won an award for our Community Events. We are very proud of how successful they are!
