Welcome to

St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary Academy

It’s a very busy week!

We had very special visitors from the Royal British Legion who joined us to watch a performance of ‘the Christmas Truce’, which was the story of the football match which took place in the trenches during Christmas Day 1914.

Year 5 have been taking part in a competition organised by United Utilities to write a radio advert to support their winterwise campaign.

Visit their web page to see what they have been doing.

Bible Craft Club have finished their wonderful nativity scenes and Christmas decorations. Come and have a look at their creations.

Rhema theatre company visited us again with a wonderful pantomime. They even had a donkey!

Alice from Year 6 won a national Christmas card competition organised by Catherine Lane PR in London. She received her prize from Mr Colothan at a special presentation ceremony.

We also had lots of winners at a sports awards presentation. Here are Miss Banks and Mr Price (dressed ready for the Year 3 party!) with the winners from Year 4.

We’ve lots of photos of everything please keep watching the website and twitter for updates.
