Curling Fun!
Two teams from Canon Sharples and St Wilfrid’s met to learn new skills, with the help of Steve Owens, to compete in games of New Age Curling and Boccia. The teams had to learn how to control the speed and direction of a boccia ball and a curling stone to aim for targets and score points. Over three days they developed skills and worked with one another to establish new friendships and learn the rules of the games. We look forward to competing against each other in a tournament at the end of the summer term, when we have had time to practise skills and develop our tactics.
