Confirmation

Our Confirmation sessions are going to start again in 2026, offering our Year 6 children the special opportunity to continue their faith journey at St Wilfrid's and within the Church of England. These sessions will support children in deepening their understanding of the Christian faith, reflecting on their commitment to God, and preparing to affirm their baptism promises as they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Through prayer, discussion and reflection, children will grow spiritually and strengthen their relationship with God as they prepare for this important sacrament, supported by our school and church community at St. Wilfrid’s Church.

Further details about registration will be shared in January, and families will receive a letter within the next week outlining the next steps. This letter will include important information about how to register, session dates, and what to expect as the Confirmation journey begins.
